Phil Floyd is a professional production — and each year, a small number of community venues are selected to host it as a part-fundraiser event.
Rather than a straightforward venue hire, Phil Floyd shows can be structured as a partnership with the venue:
Split the sales of the tickets between Phil Floyd and the community-run venue at a preferential rate.
Make 100% of the proceeds from a community-run bar and raffle.
Experience shows you can raise over £1,000 at an 80-seat venue with limited effort.
Carmyllie Village Hall hosted Phil Floyd in 2026 as a fundraiser — sold out, and a genuine boost to the hall's finances.
"We found the show was enjoyed as much by people who didn't know Pink Floyd's music as well as the Pink Floyd 'fans'. Not only was the show, and the fundraising, great — but we also enjoyed being involved in the setup and seeing behind the scenes of a professional sound, light and laser show." — Sarah Kirk-Kelly, Chairperson, Carmyllie Village Hall
This works best with venues and committees who actively want to sell the show out — the same energy a committee would bring to running its own fundraiser — rather than venues simply willing to host an event.
A limited number of community dates are made available each year. Interested venues are welcome to get in touch to be considered for one of the selected 2027 dates.
